WHAT IS SCULPTECH?

Neuron’s guiding development principle is called SculpTech, which means using IT expertise to shape the future of your business. With SculpTech, we build up the proper IT background using our business strategy, IT knowledge, and the ideas and needs of our partners. We created Sculptech Business Product Development for companies answering market demands, be them startups or mature businesses, that want an efficient market entry process and a professional IT background for their successful business product.
The process consists of 5 main steps:

  1. Product definition
  2. Prototype creation
  3. Sales process
  4. Product development
  5. Go-live and operation

1. PRODUCT DEFINITION

During the Product definition phase, we analyse the product and the estimated expenses of creating it. Using its business psychology background, Neuron performs a personality- and behaviour-based analysis of the business concept and their owners and creates the Sculptech Product Strategy document, including suggestions for the product’s business strategy.
Sculptech Product Definition:

  • getting familiar with the concept
  • overviewing the resources at our disposal
  • analyzing the product
  • planning the estimated expenses of the implementation

2. PROTOTYPE CREATION

The goal of creating a prototype is to be able to present a “working” solution to the potential customers and investors, rather than just a business concept.
The prototype includes:

  • Prototype design
  • Prototype functionality
  • More specific Sculptech Product Definition
  • Deployed web-based prototype and 6 month of maintenance on the cloud servers of Neuron
  • Prototype mobile application

3. SALES PROCESS

The real sales process starts using the prototype, the first 4-6-week goal of which is to examine the viability of the product among customers and investors. By the end of this period, it is suggested to acquire the right number of letters of intent, specified in the Sculptech Product Definition. With this knowledge, a decision can be made whether it is worthwhile to introduce the product, and if so, how it should be carried out.

4. PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

After the first step of the Sales phase, a decision is made about the implementation of the product. During the first two-week phase of Product development, the experiences gained during the Sales process are built into the Sculptech Product Definition document with the help of the advisor. Depending on the size of the project, the phases get defined and the product development begins. The methodology used during software development ensures that a demo of the implemented functionalities can be held to the client on a fortnightly basis. The last two weeks are always the period of acceptance testing; there is no development going on.

5. GO-LIVE AND OPERATION

When closing the project, we create the production, test, and demo environments, which ensure the operation of systems and the support of further developments and sales during the entire life of the product.
